All the fans of the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes are disappointed after they saw the finale episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The series completed run of 10 successful seasons and was loved by its fans. The Final season came to an end after airing 8 episodes.
On 26th June 2011 fans of the series viewed the finale episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent which was titled “To the Boy in the Blue Knit Cap”. That was the last chance to see the cast together solving the cases.
Every single fan of the series will be missing the way detective Robert Goren (Vincent D’ Onofrio) and detective Alex Eames (Kathryn Erbe) solved the crime cases. It is hard to accept that we will have no more of Goren and Eames.
Not only the fans but the stars are also disappointed with end of the series and they wish that the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes return. Vincent and Erbe have hopes from their fans who have loved them for 10 long seasons. They are positive enough that their fans’ power would bring them back with the series. I being a fan of the series wish the same that both of my favorite detectives return with the series.

The team of Eames and Goren is called to investigate a case of two murders that took place in the office of a website company, which is a dating website. The company is run by an intelligent woman and a lawsuit has been filed by two twins against her claiming that she has stolen their idea.
This Law & Order: Criminal Intent finale had guest appearance by James Van Der Beek, who portrayed the role of a person always busy in parties and drugs. He is the partner of the social website. James’ character brought some excitement to the episode but still it could not make the episode as a finale episode should be.
Finally the case is solved by Goren and Eames and both of them set off to a new case. And the good news in this finale episode was that Goren has passed the psych therapy sessions.

“Law & Order: Criminal Intent” will take its final bow next week as the final chapter of Detective Robert Goren’s career approaches. As seen in a preview to the episode called “To the Boy in the Blue Knit Cap”, the character played by Vincent D’Onofrio is asking someone who might take his job away.
Meanwhile, a dispute over an internet dating site becomes deadly. Goren and his partner Detective Alexandra Eames investigate the murders of two staffers at a Web company involved in a heated lawsuit.
Their bodies were discovered in the office of the woman he was suing. The team’s investigation leads to a site that connects strangers who’ve had brief romantic encounters.
The episode is inspired in part by “The Accidental Billionaires“, written by Ben Mezrich, and its 2010 film adaptation “The Social Network”, which revolves around the controversial lawsuit regarding the founding of Facebook. It will air on Sunday, June 26 at 9/8c on USA Network.

The upcoming episode of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” has a storyline based on “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” which has suffered many stage mishaps. The June 19 outing will also mark Patti Smith’s acting debut and a sneak peek to her performance has been released via TV Guide.
In the episode, punk rocker Smith plays Columbia University mythology professor Cleo who helps figure out the meaning behind Icarus. In the clip, she is seen getting a visit from Vincent D’Onofrio’s Detective Robert Goren who along with his partner Detective Alexandra Eames (Kathryn Erbe) investigates a Broadway musical after an actor dies while performing a stunt.
Called “Icarus“, the episode will also feature Cynthia Nixon as Amanda Reese, a high-strung and larger-than-life director behind the play. She is one of the suspects in the case.
The tenth and final season of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” airs every Sunday at 9/8c on USA Network.
